Helping a Charity Achieve Long-Term Success
Client Story : Music4Wellbeing

The Challenge
Music4Wellbeing, a small a Kent-based charity that specialises in therapeutic musical interventions to improve wellbeing, needed support to secure funding for their programmes and essential core costs. They also needed advice and guidance on becoming a charity having operated as not-for profit but without charity status. And with limited capacity and experience in grant applications, they struggled to bring in the income required to achieve their goals.

The Solution
I collaborated with Music4Wellbeing to address their immediate and long-term fundraising needs. Together, we worked on a successful application to the Henry Smith Charity, securing funding that enabled them to sustain and grow their services. Additionally, I provided one-to-one training for their Manager of Operations, equipping them with the skills to manage future fundraising independently.
The Results
Thanks to our partnership, Music4Wellbeing received a significant grant from the Henry Smith Charity. More importantly, they gained the knowledge and confidence to continue fundraising without ongoing external support. This combination of financial success and capacity-building allowed them to focus on delivering impactful programmes to their beneficiaries.
