I worked in partnership with the CEO of Merton Mencap to provide comprehensive fundraising support, helping the organisation build a solid foundation for sustainable growth. My work involved creating a targeted and effective fundraising strategy, writing grant applications that secured essential funding, and offering tailored advice on managing the application process and fostering strong relationships with funders. This collaborative approach ensured the charity was well-equipped to achieve its long-term goals and expand its impact.
The Results
Merton Mencap saw a significant return on investment from my support, with successful grants covering my fees many times over. The broader impact of my work, including strategic advice on governance including trustee recruitment, was recognised and appreciated by the trustee board. This partnership not only strengthened their financial position but also enhanced their operational capabilities.
